124-A-5 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”

God become flesh is called Christ,” what does “Christ” mean? Christ is the Savior. The Savior is Christ. “Christ” in Hebrew is Messiah. The Messiah is also the Savior. Why can’t we call God’s Spirit the Savior? Why is it that God incarnate can be called the Savior? The key is to understand that He can do this kind of work. When God is in heaven, you can call Him any number of names. You can call Him God, Lord, the Creator or the Savior. If you call Him the Savior, it is not practical. When God is in heaven, He cannot do the work of the Savior. If God were to do this work, how would He do it? God has to become flesh in order to do it. Once He is clothed in flesh He can express the truth and save mankind. He can save mankind from Satan’s influence, that is why only Christ can be the Savior. When God is incarnate, He is the Savior. He is the Lord that saves mankind. This is absolutely correct! However, God’s incarnation is the most difficult to accept. It is the most incompatible with people’s notions. For example, once people see God incarnate, the first thing they notice is that He looks very ordinary. The words that He speaks are those of a human language. His habits and customs are also those of a human. “How can this person be called God? He can’t, He can’t!” It is difficult for people to accept this. However, if this person can finish God’s work, save mankind from the domain of Satan and obtain mankind, then is this person not the Savior? This person is the Savior. He has completed God’s work and saved mankind from Satan’s domain. Those who have been saved are Christ’s witnesses. Christ is the Savior, Christ is God incarnate. He is the Savior revealed.

How to Know God’s Disposition and the Result of His Work (Part Two) Walk in God’s Way: Fear God and Shun Evil

There’s a saying you should take note of. I believe this saying is very important, because for Me it comes to mind countless times every single day. Why is that? Because every time I’m faced with someone, every time I hear someone’s story, every time I hear of someone’s experience or their testimony of believing in God, I always use this saying to weigh whether or not this individual is the type of person God wants, the type of person God likes. So what’s this saying, then? Now you are all eagerly waiting. When I reveal the saying, perhaps you will feel disappointed because there are those who have been paying it lip service for many years. But as for Me, I’ve never paid it any lip service. This saying resides in My heart. So what is this saying? It’s “walk in God’s way: fear God and shun evil.” Is this not an exceedingly simple phrase? Yet though the saying may be simple, someone who genuinely has a deep understanding of it will feel that it’s of great weight; that it has a lot of value for practice; that it’s language of life with the reality of the truth; that it’s a lifelong objective to strive toward for those seeking to satisfy God; and that it’s a lifelong way to be followed by anyone who’s considerate of God’s intentions. So what do you think: Is this saying truth? Does it have this kind of significance? Perhaps there are some people who are thinking about this saying, trying to figure it out, and some yet who are suspicious of it: Is this saying very important? Is it very important? Is it so necessary and worthy of emphasis? Perhaps there are some people who don’t much like this saying because they think taking God’s way and distilling it into this one saying is too much of an oversimplification. To take all of which God said and boil it down to one saying—isn’t this making God out to be a little too insignificant? Is that how it is? It could be that most of you don’t fully understand the profound meaning behind these words.

124-A-4 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”

The words of God are as follows: “Those whose belief in God is false, those who are not approved by God, those who are despised by God, those who are eliminated by God—they are bound to be rejected by God, are bound to remain without the way of life, and are bound to remain ignorant of where God is.” These stipulations are quite severe but they reveal the truth of the matter. “In contrast, those in whose hearts God lives know where He is,” the people who have God in their hearts know where God is. Now, where would you say God is? You say, “God is in my heart!” Do not even dare to say this! Where exactly is God? If you actually do not know, what kind of problem is this? Those who do not know are the people who God has eliminated. Those who truly have God living in their hearts know where God is.

You say that people who believe in God must accept God’s work of judgment in the last days, and only then can their corrupt disposition be changed. But we, in accordance with the Lord’s requirements, practice humility and patience, love our enemies, bear our crosses, subdue our bodies, abandon worldly things, and we work and preach for the Lord and so on. So aren’t all these our changes? Can’t they become the credentials for our entry into the kingdom of heaven? I believe that as long as we seek in this way, we can attain purification, and enter into the kingdom of heaven?

Answer: We can love our enemy, bear the cross, overcome our body, and spread the gospel of the Lord. These are positive behaviors coming from our belief in the Lord. Our exhibition of such good behaviors signifies that our faith in the Lord is true. These good behaviors may appear correct to people, as if these are in line with the word of God, but it does not mean that we are practicing God’s word and following the will of the heavenly Father, it doesn’t mean that we have quit our sinful nature and become sanctified. There is a reason why we cannot just look at people’s good behaviors by appearance. We also need to look at their intentions and ultimate purposes. If our intention is to obey God, love God, and satisfy God, this kind of good behavior is practicing the truth and obeying the will of the heavenly Father.

124-A-6 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”

Someone asked, “What is the longest our bodies can live?” Tell me how many years we can live, what is the longest lifespan. Can we live for three or five hundred years? Some people say that’s impossible. Wrong, the longest the body can live for is nine hundred years, as it is recorded in the Bible. Some people say: “I’ve never seen that, it’s impossible, seeing is believing, mere words are nothing but wind!” Is this correct? Is there anyone who gets younger as they get older in age? Have you seen this? Is this the truth in plain sight? The longer they live the younger they become; some people who are more than 80 years old appear to be only a bit over 20. Some people take one look at them and say, “Isn’t this person so young?” There are many both religious people and common folk who are more than 80 years old but appear to only be a bit over 40, there are quite a few of these people in Taiwan. Some people when they reach the age of 70 or 80, they will grow new teeth, their hair will grow black and their skin will become more tender. So on the basis of these facts, does the human flesh have an age limit? There isn’t a limit, right? This is a fact in plain sight! People can become young again. This is clear, so is there such a thing as immortality? Yes, there is. To live for 900 years is also a fact; everything that is recorded in the Bible is a fact. So for God all this is a very simple matter, for He speaks and it is done; He commands, and it stands fast. As soon as you have God’s blessing, your body can easily live for one or two thousand years; if you are without God’s blessing you will die somewhere between fifty and eighty years old from old age, so old that you are riddled with disease and are unable to move. Isn’t that all decided by God? This is surely obvious now! Can this prove that God is almighty?

How to Know God’s Disposition and the Result of His Work (Part Three)

How God Establishes Man’s Outcome and the Standard by Which He Establishes Man’s Outcome
Before you have any of your own views or conclusions, you should first understand God’s attitude toward you, what God is thinking, and then decide whether or not your own thinking is correct. God has never used units of time to establish a person’s outcome, and He has never used the amount of suffering endured by someone to establish their outcome. Then what does God use as a standard for establishing man’s outcome? Using time units to establish a person’s outcome—this is what most conforms to people’s conceptions. And there are also those individuals who you often see, those who at one point devoted a lot, spent a lot, paid a lot, suffered a lot. These are ones who, in your views, can be saved by God. All that these people show, all that they live out, is precisely mankind’s conception of the standard by which God establishes the outcome of man. Regardless of what you believe, I won’t list out these examples one by one. In short, so long as it isn’t the standard of God’s own thinking, then it comes from man’s imagination, and it’s all man’s conception. What’s the consequence of blindly insisting on your own conception and imagination? Obviously, the consequence can only be God spurning you. This is because you always flaunt your qualifications before God, compete with God, and dispute with God, and you do not try to truly comprehend God’s thinking, nor do you try to comprehend God’s intentions and God’s attitude toward humanity. Proceeding like this is honoring yourself above all, not honoring God. You believe in yourself; you don’t believe in God. God doesn’t want this type of person, and God won’t save this type of person. If you can let go of this kind of viewpoint, and then rectify these incorrect viewpoints of the past; if you could proceed according to God’s demands; start practicing the way of fearing God and shunning evil from this point forward; manage to honor God as great in all things; don’t use your own personal fancies, viewpoints, or beliefs to define yourself, define God. And instead, you seek out God’s intentions in all respects, you achieve a realization and understanding of God’s attitude toward humanity, and you use God’s standard to satisfy God—that would be wonderful! This would mean you are about to embark on the way of fearing God and shunning evil.

The 5 Prophecies in the Bible Concerning the Lord Jesus’ Return Have Been Fulfilled

By Zheng Xun
We are now at the end of the last days, and there are many brothers and sisters who believe sincerely in the Lord and await His return who must surely be thinking this question: In chapter 22, verse 12 of Revelation, the Lord Jesus prophesied, “And, behold, I come quickly.” The Lord promised us that He would come again in the last days, so has He now returned? This question really is so important to us Christians, so how exactly are we to know whether the Lord has really returned or not? In actual fact, the Lord Jesus has already told us through biblical prophecies, and as long as we take all the facts together and ponder them in earnest, then we will find the answer.

What Kind of People Can Gain God’s Salvation?

By Chenwei
On the morning of Sunday, it was sunny. Flowers in the courtyard emitted a beautiful, strong smell. The voices of prayers were coming from brothers and sisters in the meeting place, “Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. … Amen.”
The preacher, Brother Liu, stood on the platform, saying to everyone with a smile, “Today, we change a way of having a meeting. You can ask if you are not clear about something or have any questions. We will seek and fellowship together. On one hand, it can liven up the atmosphere; on the other hand, we will develop the burden and fellowship actively. In this way we can understand more truths. May the Lord prepare. Amen!”

God Himself, the Unique X God Is the Source of Life for All Things (IV) Part Four 2. God’s Requirements of Mankind 1) The Identity and Status of God Himself

We have come to the end of the topic of “God is the source of life for all things,” as well as that of “God is the unique God Himself.” Having done so, we need to make a summary. What kind of summary? One about God Himself. Since it is about God Himself, then it must relate to every aspect of God, as well as to people’s form of belief in God.

139-B-5 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth” (V)

Now, let me ask a question: When people read the word of God, why are they content to feel like they understand it on a conscious level and that if there are no difficulties in doing that, they think it’s all done and they’ve gotten through?

Knowing God Is the Path to Fearing God and Shunning Evil

Everyone should examine anew his life of believing in God to see whether, in the pursuit of God, he has truly understood, truly comprehended, and truly come to know God, whether he truly knows what attitude God bears to the various types of human beings, and whether he truly understands what God is working upon him and how God defines his every act. This God, who is by your side, guiding the direction of your progress, ordaining your destiny, and supplying your needs—how much do you, in the final analysis, understand and how much do you really know about Him? Do you know what He works on you every single day? Do you know the principles and purposes on which He bases His every action? Do you know how He guides you? Do you know the means by which He supplies you? Do you know the methods with which He leads you? Do you know what He wishes to obtain from you and what He wishes to achieve in you? Do you know the attitude He takes to the multifarious ways in which you behave? Do you know whether you are a person beloved of Him? Do you know the origin of His joy, anger, sorrow, and delight, the thoughts and ideas behind them, and His essence? Do you know, ultimately, what kind of God is this God that you believe in? Are these and other questions of the sort something that you have never understood or thought about? In pursuing your belief in God, have you, through real appreciation and experience of God’s words, cleared up your misunderstandings about Him? Have you, after receiving God’s discipline and chastening, arrived at genuine submission and caring? Have you, in the midst of God’s chastisement and judgment, come to know the rebelliousness and satanic nature of man and gained a modicum of understanding about God’s holiness? Have you, under the guidance and enlightenment of God’s words, begun to have a new outlook of life? Have you, in the midst of the trial sent by God, felt His intolerance for man’s offenses as well as what He requires of you and how He is saving you? If you do not know what it is to misunderstand God, or how to clear up this misunderstanding, then one can say that you have never entered into true communion with God and have never understood God, or at least one can say you have never wished to understand Him.

God Himself, the Unique X God Is the Source of Life for All Things (IV) Part One

Today, we are communing a special topic. For each and every one of you, there are only two main things that you need to know, experience and understand—and what are these two things? The first is people’s personal entry into life, and the second relates to knowing God. Today I give you a choice: Choose one. Would you like to hear about a topic that relates to people’s personal life experience, or would you like to hear one about knowing God Himself? And why do I give you such a choice? Because, today, I have in mind to commune some new things to you about knowing God. But, irrespective, I’ll first let you choose between the two things that I just spoke of. (I choose the one about knowing God.) (We think that communing the knowledge of God is better, too.) Do you think what we’ve been communing recently about knowing God is attainable? (When God held the first communion, we didn’t feel it was. After that, God held several more communions, and when we went back over the first communion, in the environments created by God, the brothers and sisters paid attention to experiencing in this area.) It’s fair to say that it is beyond most people’s reach. You might not be convinced by these words. Why do I say this? Because when you were listening to what I was saying before, regardless of how I said it, or with what words, when you heard it, literally and theoretically you were aware of what I was saying, but a very serious issue with you was, you didn’t understand why I said these things, why I spoke of these topics. This is the crux of the issue. And so, though hearing these things added to and enriched your understanding of God and His deeds, why are you still having trouble knowing God? The reason is this: After hearing what I said, most of you don’t understand why I said this, and what connection it has to knowing God. Is this not so? What does your inability to understand its connection to knowing God relate to? Have you ever thought about this? Perhaps you haven’t. The reason you don’t understand these things is because your life experience is too superficial. If people’s knowledge and experience of God’s words remain at a very shallow level, then most of their knowledge of God will be vague and abstract—it will be rudimental, doctrinal, and theoretical. In theory, it appears or sounds logical and reasonable, but the knowledge of God that comes out of most people’s mouths is empty. And why do I say that it is empty? Because, in fact, in your hearts you are not clear about whether the words about knowing God that come from your mouths are right or not, whether they are accurate or not. And so, even though most people have heard a lot of information and topics about knowing God, their knowledge of God has yet to go beyond theory and vague and abstract doctrine.

139-A-2 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God”

Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God.” This is the word of God as well as the title of this message. The word of God itself is the truth and the fact. Is it important to know this truth? Extremely so! Why is this truth particularly important? To what extent is it so important? Can you give me an idea? It is quite possible that few people have pondered on this truth. How does one please God with his faith? How should one practice his faith in order to be saved and made perfect by God? What are the criteria for God’s salvation? Especially, many people aspire to become overcomers by being made perfect by God. What are the standards for an overcomer? Undoubtedly, most people have not given it much thought. So the word of God we are reading today is all about this aspect of truth. “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God.” If this is so, what kind of a man is not an opponent of God? What qualifies a man to be a non-opponent of God? We see from the word of God that in the last days, God wants to perfect those who are of the same mind with Him. Precisely speaking, what does it mean by the phrase “those who are of the same mind with God”? They are the ones who are compatible with Christ. However, if a man does not understand the truth, will he see what this is all about? If you ask him, “How much do you believe in God? Have you received the truth and the life, and with what result? Are you perfected by God?” For most people, these are tough questions that they are afraid to answer. If you have seen through the essence of these questions and discovered the key to be after God’s heart, then you will know how to answer them. By now, there must be a lot of you who say, “Needless to say, we are sure that we have been saved.” What is the criterion for being saved? They don’t know. They say, “I have managed to obey God, and I rarely commit sin.” When you say you have managed to obey God, what is the basis of your claim? This is not easy to answer. If you say you have been saved, how do you back up your word? This question is equally difficult to answer. Nowadays, many people ask, “What does ‘being perfected by God’ mean? What are the criteria for being perfected by God?” Someone says, “A person perfected by God will never sin again.” But that is not a criterion. Whether one sins again or not is not a criterion. Strictly speaking, being perfected by God means that one can absolutely obey God without condition, judgment or resistance, regardless of what God says, and has the ability to obediently accept God’s word. This is a person who obeys God’s will. This is a person who has been perfected by God. What is the most practical way to express the term “perfected by God”? Going by God’s word, we can confirm the criterion for being perfected by God is reaching compatibility with Christ. Is it simple to be compatible with Christ? “To be compatible with Christ,” how do we know what that means? Someone may say, “‘To be compatible with Christ,’ that is easy to explain. That means accepting Christ as the incarnation of God without a scintilla of doubt ever, and following Him to the end. Isn’t that being compatible with Christ?” Is this statement accurate? The statement seems to be reasonable but impractical. In that case, what is being compatible with Christ after all? Someone says, “No matter what Christ does, I have no notions about it and I obey Him unconditionally.” What about this statement? Does it have any sense of practicality? The saying is correct, but did you live it out or just make it up? If you just made it up, that is just reasoning. If you have lived it out, your statement is more practical. Tell me, is it easy to have no notions about Christ? You all say no. Why not? Those of you who have experience can say what made you think it is not easy. Those who have no experience have no idea why it is not easy, and they can only speak some doctrine. Is it so simple to be in accord with Christ? Look at the married couples. How many husbands and wives are in accord? Almost 99% of marriages are falling apart. Husbands and wives are not in accord. Are fathers and sons in accord? What about mothers and daughters? Not at all! Humanity as a whole is not in accord. Are demons in accord with each other? Look at the dog-eat-dog carnage among them for power and positions. Look at the imperial dynasties in China, the bloodbath between fathers and sons, among brothers and among sisters. No need to say.

How Do We Know That the Lord Jesus Has Returned?

Speaking of the return of the Lord, it is written in Matthew 24:36: “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” No one can know when the Lord Jesus will return, so how do you know that the Lord Jesus has returned already? It really seems inconceivable to us!
Answer:
The Bible reads: “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Mat 24:36). Some brothers and sisters take this to mean that the Lord has not come back. They don’t believe the Lord now has already come back. Actually, such reasoning doesn’t make sense. For the Lord comes to save man. If the Lord does not let man know of His coming, then how can men follow Him and believe in Him? How can God accomplish His work of salvation? If we always hold to this statement, then won’t we be waiting forever for the second coming of the Lord? So, what does this verse really say? In fact, when we read this verse together with the preceding few verses, it becomes clear. Matthew 24:32-36 states: “Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” We all know these verses speak of the sign of the second coming of the Lord, and from “it is near, even at the doors” we know the Son of man is already at the doors. But when He will enter, the day, the moment He will enter we really do not know. That is to say, “that day and hour” no one knows. Further, no one knows when “the Son of man” (God incarnate) will come among men, meaning that no one knows the day, the moment of God’s arrival. The angels of heaven do not know, man does not know, only the Father (the Spirit) knows. Just as Almighty God says: “At the break of dawn, unbeknownst to any, God came to earth and began His life in the flesh. People were unaware of this moment. Maybe they were all fast asleep, maybe many who were watchfully awake were waiting, and maybe many were praying silently to God in heaven. Yet among all these many people, not one knew that God had already arrived on earth” (“Work and Entry (4)” in The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Christian Song | "Corrupt Mankind Needs the Salvation of God Incarnate"

Corrupt Mankind Needs the Salvation of God Incarnate

God became flesh 'cause the object of His work
is not the spirit of Satan, nor anything not, not of flesh, but man.
Man’s flesh was corrupted by Satan and so became the object of God’s work.
The place of God’s salvation is man, is man.
Man is a mortal being, only flesh and blood,
and God alone can save him.
God must take on man’s flesh, and all that man is,
in order to do His work, to achieve the best result.
God must take on flesh, because man is flesh, who cannot overcome sin.
God must take on flesh, because man is flesh,
who cannot free himself from the bondage of the flesh.

Satan has corrupted the flesh of man,
who is deeply harmed and who’s blinded.
And the reason God comes, the reason He comes in flesh
is because man is the object of His salvation,
and Satan disturbs God’s work by using the flesh, the flesh of man, of man.
God battles Satan by conquering man, yet saves man at the same time.
In this way God Himself must become incarnate,
in order to do His work, in order to do His work.
Satan has corrupted flesh,
it’s indwelt man’s flesh and God has to defeat him.
To battle with Satan and save man,
God must come to earth and become flesh. It’s a real work.

When God works in flesh He’s really fighting Satan.
His work in the realm of the spirit becomes practical,
it’s real on earth, in man.
The one that God conquers is disobedient man,
while in mankind Satan’s defeated,
and ultimately the one who is saved is man, is man.
It was necessary for God to become a man and take on a creature’s shell,
to do battle with Satan and conquer mankind,
rebellious in his creature’s shell.
It was necessary for God to become a man and take on a creature’s shell,
to save mankind who wears the same outer shell,
but who has been harmed by Satan, who has been harmed by Satan.
Man is God’s enemy, God must conquer him.
Man is God’s object of salvation; God must take on flesh, and become a man.
In this way His work is made easier.
God can defeat Satan, God can conquer mankind, God can save mankind.

The Result Achieved by Knowing God

One day,
you will feel that the Creator
is no longer a riddle,
that the Creator has never been hidden from you,
that the Creator
has never concealed His face from you,
that the Creator is not at all far from you,
that the Creator is no longer the One that you constantly long for in your thoughts but that you cannot reach with your feelings,
that He is really and truly standing guard to your left and right,
supplying your life, and controlling your destiny, controlling your destiny.

Gospel Movie "Waiting" | Hear the Voice of God and Welcome the Lord

      Gospel Movie
Yang Hou'en is a pastor at a house church in China. With his father Yang Shoudao, they have awaited the Lord Jesus to descend from the clouds and take them up into the kingdom of heaven. For this, they diligently worked for the Lord, held fast to His name, and believed that anyone who is not the Lord Jesus descending from the clouds is a false Christ. And so, when they heard the news of the Lord's second coming, they did not listen to it or accept it. They thought that it was best to watch and wait. … While they waited passively, Yang Hou'en's cousin Li Jiayin accepted the work of Almighty God in the last days, and spread the gospel to them. After some intense discussions, Yang Hou'en finally understood the true meaning of "watch and wait," and could see that Almighty God's words are the truth, the way, the life, and these are the voice of the Lord, and Almighty God is the second coming of the Lord Jesus that they had waited for so many years …
